Everything in the home was exactly as described, and we appreciated the thoughtful details such as ample kitchen supplies, Keurig pods, hot chocolate, and so many towels! A big perk for us was the backyard hot tub. The location was perfect: walking distance to South Haven, and in the other directions it's also walking distance to a Walgreens and a grocery store. This made everything seem so convenient and we didn't have to worry about where or when to pick anything up. A great stay!"

"The Marlowe’s Haven house was even better in person. It was decorated like a modern farmhouse with all the amenities you could ask for. The upstairs bedroom with the two beds and toy room was perfect for both my girls. The other two bedrooms was perfect for my husband and I and my in laws stayed in the one of the main floor. Bathrooms were fully stocked and all linens looked as if they were brand new. All white too. We took advantage of the beach supplies they had available to use and even took a family bike ride. South Haven and surrounding areas had so much to offer for activities, food, and shopping. First time we have visited Michigan and we will absolutely be back again. I will recommend Marlowe’s Haven as the best and only place to stay!"

We enjoyed hanging in the backyard, soaking in the hot tub and riding bikes to town! The bikes were a nice touch as we wanted to avoid all the holiday traffic. About a 9 min bike ride to town, which was perfect. Walking to the beach is about a 30 min walk, so that was a bit further than our group wanted to walk yet, the bikes came in handy for that as well. We love South Haven, it's been a few years since visiting. We'd highly recommend this humble home :)"

"Our 3 -day stay with our adult kids was wonderful! The home was immaculately clean with so many nice details, including everything needed to prepare meals from cooking oil, to new pans/utensils, tin foil, as well as new appliances throughout (including a brand new washer and dryer in the basement). Everything was so nicely decorated. No need to bring paper towels, TP, hand soap, or shampoo/conditioner – nicely stocked here as well. We loved the proximity of the hot tub and the firepit that allowed our 6 person group to stay together no matter which they preferred. The firestarter and free firewood was also a plus that most VRBOs don't provide. We did not get a chance to use the many bikes that were available but I did notice they were all in good condition and ready to roll (including one that had a single pull-behind for a little one. We look forward to returning for another visit!"

"This cozy cottage is GORGEOUS and in an awesome location! A quick 2 minute drive to downtown or a 15 minute walk. It was perfect for our girls weekend and had plenty of space for 8 of us to feel comfortable and right at home. The hosts were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The house is literally only a few minutes away from everything you come to South Haven for! With all the amenities, you really only need to bring a change of clothes to have a great time. "Marlowe’s Haven was heaven! We were so lucky to find Erica and Alyssa’s listing after our accommodations fell through. From the moment we arrived to a handwritten note, fresh flowers and seasonal treats from our lovely hosts to the moment we checked out, all was perfect. They have lovingly restored this quaint and cozy home, sparing no detail! The beds were comfy, the water pressure great, and the kitchen and baths have every amenity and detail you could possibly need! It was a little chilly the weekend of our visit, so we didn’t use the outdoor space much, but it is lovely, private and equipped with a brand new hot tub! The location is a three minute drive or 15 minute walk to downtown SoHa, and the hosts provided a great list of their favorite spots. Erica and Alyssa were very communicative and quick to respond. All in all, this is one of the most well-appointed homes I’ve ever rented! We have a family home in South Haven, so I may not need to stay at Marlowe’s Haven again, but I definitely will recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Thanks for everything, Erica and Alyssa!"

"We had a really good stay at Erica and Alyssa’s house. The house was very clean and well stocked. Communication with the owners was excellent and very fast. The backyard patio and firepit were particularly nice. I brought some firewood with us but they had a fairly large stack available for use. They also provided a beach cart, umbrella and a couple of chairs for use at the beach. We didn’t use them but there were several bikes available in the garage…it would be an easy and short cycle into the downtown area. Overall, we were very pleased with the rental and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others."

"We stayed here July 14-17 for my daughters 18th birthday celebration. She invited 5 friends up to celebrate with her. The house is absolutely adorable (the teal fridge and matching oven were the girls favorite things), and impeccable. Super clean and attention has been paid to every detail. The backyard was also a favorite, and the girls loved that they could hop on the bikes and ride downtown. The house is the perfect distance to downtown and the beach, but the location is quiet and private. 100% would recommend and will be returning next year. Thank you so much!"
